In a world shaken by geopolitical disruptions, intensifying climate challenges, and growing social and political polarization, over a hundred high-level experts, policymakers, scientists and civic society representatives gathered in the 1st Strategic Food Summit held at the Royal Flemish Academy of Belgium for Science and the Arts (KVAB) under the theme “REIMAGINE FOOD & AGRICULTURE: a Strategic Summit on the Narratives that Shape our Reality”.
Maria João Rodrigues participated in the quality of Chairwoman of Reimagine Europa Advisory Board. Re-Imagine Europa (RIE) is an international non-partisan think-tank founded by President Valéry Giscard d’Estaing, in honor of his partnership and friendship with Chancellor Helmut Schmidt and their efforts to define a future that goes beyond personal, national or partisan interests. Working with leading scientists and an extended network of knowledge and strategic partners, it conducts research on narratives, public discourse, disinformation, and polarization.
