Maria João Rodrigues participates in the Global Policy Dialogue in Recife

On January 19 and 20 2023, in the city of Recife, Brazil, the CIPÓ Platform, the “Stimson Center”, the “Global Challenges Foundation”, the “Global Governance Innovation Network”, the “Foundation for European Progressive Studies” , represented by its President, Maria João Rodrigues and the Heinrich Böll Foundation, gathered with the aim of promoting dialogue on the increasingly important issue, “Facing the Triple Planetary Crisis by Strengthening Global Governance”.

The event brought together a select and diverse group of Member States and the UN Secretariat, research institutes, universities and other civil society organizations to discuss the nexus between climate change, biodiversity loss and pollution and contamination.
