FEPS actively participated in the United Nations Summit of the Future in New York, which brought together world leaders to adopt the Pact for the Future.
The Pact for the Future is an action-oriented document aimed at ensuring that international institutions can deliver in a world that has changed dramatically since they were created.
Seven key areas are covered: peace and security, sustainable development, climate change, digital cooperation, human rights, gender, youth and future generations, and the reform of global governance.
FEPS organised two side events: On 19 September, as part of FEPS’ ‘UNited for’ flagship project, FEPS presented insights from its book A New Global Deal: Reforming World Governance, which aims to contribute to open dialogue across all continents concerning the priorities of reforming world governance and policies to address current global challenges.
