On October 3 and 4, CIPÓ Platform held the event “Global South Policy Dialogue – Promoting Climate Action and Tackling Inequalities: the role of the G20” at the National History Museum in Rio de Janeiro, in partnership with the Climate and Society Institute (iCS), the Global Challenges Foundation, the Global Governance Innovation Network, the G20, the T20 and the City of Rio de Janeiro. The event brought together parliamentarians, representatives of think tanks, the Brazilian government and international organizations, and members of civil society to discuss the crucial role of the G20 in promoting more inclusive solutions to the climate crisis.
